Biomedical Visualization involves visually communicating information within the medical and life-science fields to both experts and the general-public in an accurate, easily understandable, and captivating manner. This is achieved through the creation and effective use of 3D models, interactive applications, and illustrations.

Medical and scientific content is often esoteric, dense, and complicated and it can be difficult to communicate information within these fields to others in a manner that is engaging, factually correct, or readily understood. Visual imagery has been shown to be an incredibly powerful tool in overcoming theses obstacles and the barriers to meaningful communication.

With a B.S. in Neuroscience and MS in Biomedical Visualization—consisting of advanced courses in human anatomy, physiology, chemistry, biology, and neuroscience as well as courses in visual learning theory, 3D modeling, illustration, interactive programming, and design—a specialized and extensive education and experience affords the assurance of highly accurate visual work delivered in a skilled and captivating manner.
