Emergency Decision

Emergency Decision is a trauma simulator that requires a player to take on the role of an emergency physician and correctly asses and treat an incoming emergency patient. The game utilizes ATLS guidelines to build an algorithm of the player’s actions and the consequences of those actions based on the incoming patient’s condition. Correct assessments and actions will improve the patient’s condition while incorrect assessments or actions may actually degrade the patient’s condition.

In a fully built out version, the scope of this game would include a variety of injuries the responding physician would need to asses and provide the correct intervention for while going through the ABC’s of correct care laid out in ATLS courses taught in medical school.

Mission Fertilization

The goal for Mission Fertilization was to create a competitive two player racing game that taught players general concepts concerning fertility. Players would race sperm through the uterus to be the first to fertilize the egg residing in the Fallopian tube. Along the way, players would try to obtain power ups (that relate to an increase in fertility) that would boost their health or speed while simultaneously avoiding obstacles (that relate to a decrease in fertility) which would lower their health or speed.
