Generating a scene with low-poly models early on helps build a sense of the final image. Problem solving elements such as lighting, camera angle, spacing, posing, etc. can be resolved here at an early stage while the composition is still very flexible.

To save time, the same base model was used to depict the frog at its various stages of life. Quick changes such as different poses, polypaint or minor sculpting was employed to differentiate the various frogs for the viewer.

This is the raw result from Keyshot after the various render passes had been ‘stitched’ together. Base lighting, perspective and materials were the primary concern at this stage.

Final result. Photoshop was used to composite large changes in lighting that would have been difficult and time consuming to achieve in Keyshot.

Additionally, changes in color saturation, vibrancy, Zdepth and other post-production effects were done here.
